Two snowfish-developed e-learning projects for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award are once again showcased in the Summer 2009 issue of the DofE Magazine, distributed to over 50,000 Leaders & volunteers throughout the UK and beyond.

Members of the International Union Against Cancer's (UICC) Global Cancer Control Community (GCCC) can now benefit from a special version of the UICC Cancer Basics for All e-learning series, developed by snowfish.

Available free of charge to community members, the Cancer Basics for All e-learning series provides GCCC members with a fundamental understanding of the disease, its development, diagnosis and treatment, and explores the related psycho-social, ethical and legal issues.

It helps to meet the educational needs of a wide variety of people who care for and are in contact with cancer patients. These range from practising healthcare professionals, nursing and medical students, through to patients, family members, friends, media and volunteers.

snowfish and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award launch EX² - the DofE's new interactive expedition training resource.

Prior to launch, over 1500 DofE Leaders and participants pre-registered their interest in purchasing a single-user or site licence to use EX² as a major training tool for the Expedition section of their DofE programme.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS! - Wow! As we reach another Christmas, it's been great to take a moment to look back at the exciting year we've had.

Our two biggest projects of the year are now complete and we're hearing excellent feedback for the DofE e-Induction course which launched in September and, now the fulfillment processes are in place, we can't wait for the launch of DofE EX2 - Interactive Expedition Training Resource in the New Year.

With more projects already on the go, we are looking forward to another exciting year, but would first like to say a big thank you to our wonderful clients, partners and colleagues who've all been so great to work with and to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2009!

To celebrate the launch of the DofE e-Induction course, Doug and Mike from white orange - the excellent team who helped build the course - joined us for a bit of skiing and snowboarding at the Xscape snowdome in Milton Keynes and afterwards for a fab Thai dinner in Banbury.
